Nickel Alloy Bar and Rod
Nickel alloy bars and rods across 16 grades - Inconel, Hastelloy, Monel, Incoloy, Alloy 20 and 59.
Our nickel alloy bar and rod range brings together 16 nickel-based grades - Inconel 600 / 601 / 625 / 718 / X-750, Hastelloy C-22 / C-276 / B-2 / B-3, Monel 400 / K-500, Incoloy 800 / 825, Nickel 200 / 201, Alloy 20 and Alloy 59 - supplied as round, square, hex and forged bar for corrosive, high-temperature and strength-critical service.
These alloys keep useful strength from cryogenic temperatures up to around 700 C, resist oxidation and scaling in air, and stand up to a wide range of acids, salts and combustion gases. Precipitation-hardened grades such as 625, 718 and X-750 add higher strength; solid-solution grades lead on thermal stability and broad corrosion resistance.
We supply nickel alloy bar and rod from about 6 mm up to 300 mm diameter, with square, hex and forged shapes available, in hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged condition, solution-annealed or age-hardened, prepared to order. Stock items, cut-to-length and made-to-order dimensions are available, every lot shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and third-party inspection on request.

Specifications & Standards
| Form | Common ASTM | Typical size |
|---|---|---|
| Round bar | B166 / B446 / B637 | 6-300 mm diameter |
| Square / hex bar | B166 / B446 | 6-120 mm |
| Forged bar | B564 / B637 | up to 500 mm |

Applications
Nickel alloy bar and rod are machined and forged into components that must hold strength and resist attack in aggressive service:
Aerospace & gas turbines
shafts, combustor parts and fasteners (625, 718, X-750).
Heat treatment & furnaces
muffles, trays and radiant tubes (600, 601).
Chemical & petrochemical
reactor parts, scrubbers and acid-handling fixtures (625, 600).
Marine & offshore
pump shafts and valve stems in seawater service (625, Monel 400).
Nuclear & thermal processing
support plates needing long-term stability (600, 718).
Medical & semiconductor
high-purity fixtures and fixtures (625, Alloy 20).
Frequently Asked Questions
What diameter range can you supply for nickel alloy bar and rod?
Round, square and hex bar from about 6 mm up to 300 mm diameter, with forged shapes to 500 mm; both stock and custom sizes are available, cut to length.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Stock sizes from one piece; mill lengths or heavy sections are priced per project. Tell us the grade, size and quantity for a quote.
Do you provide MTC / EN 10204 3.1?
Yes - every lot ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection can be arranged.
What is the typical lead time?
Stock items ship within days; made-to-order material is typically a few weeks depending on size, condition and certification.
Can you supply non-standard sizes or conditions?
Yes - custom diameters, special tempers or rough-machined blanks are available on request; we also offer cutting and surface preparation.
How does 625 differ from 718 for this form?
625 is solid-solution strengthened and favoured for corrosion resistance; 718 is precipitation-hardened for higher strength at moderate temperature. Choose by whether corrosion or strength dominates your service.
