Incoloy 825 (UNS N08825, W.Nr. 2.4858) is a titanium-stabilised nickel-iron-chromium alloy. Molybdenum and copper provide its resistance to reducing and oxidising acids, chloride pitting, and stress-corrosion cracking.

Reliable Production For Critical Applications

Incoloy 825 bar is melted from nickel, chromium, iron, molybdenum, and copper, with titanium added for stabilisation. Each heat is annealed between 927 and 1010 °C, then finished to the ordered condition. Chemistry and test results stay linked to the heat number.

Alloy 825 is not age-hardenable, so any strength above the annealed minimum comes from cold work. Bar for sour service is usually ordered to a hardness ceiling as well as a strength floor.
