Alloy Pipe and Tubing

Alloy pipe & tube - mill-direct, ASTM B729, cut-to-length, global export.

Our Alloy pipe and tubing are produced mill-direct - Alloy 20 and 59 - as seamless and welded pipe and tubing for corrosive, high-temperature and strength-critical service.

This collection covers corrosion-resistant specialty nickel alloys beyond the named families. Alloy 20 (20Cb-3) resists sulphuric acid and chloride pitting with niobium stabilisation; Alloy 59 is a high-chromium, molybdenum-rich alloy with exceptional resistance to oxidising acids, chlorides and crevice corrosion, with tolerance close to the C-series.

We produce Alloy pipe and tubing from about 6 mm up to 610 mm outside diameter, wall thickness 0.5-40 mm, in the annealed, with plain or bevelled ends; seamless and welded both supplied, with plain or bevelled ends and tolerances to specification. Seamless and welded both available from mill stock or made to order, each lot with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and inspection on request.

Applications

Alloy pipe and tubing move fluids and gases where corrosion, pressure or temperature defeat ordinary alloys:

Chemical & petrochemical

sulphuric acid plants, pickling equipment and reactors (Alloy 20).

Pollution control & FGD

scrubbers and ducts in mixed acid/chloride service (Alloy 59).

Pharmaceutical & food

high-purity, corrosion-resistant process parts (Alloy 20).

Marine & offshore

seawater and brine handling with strong pitting resistance (Alloy 59).

Heat exchangers & vessels

aggressive multi-acid environments (Alloy 20, 59).

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What outside diameter range can you supply for Alloy pipe and tubing?

Pipe and tubing from from about 6 mm up to 610 mm outside diameter, wall thickness 0.5-40 mm; both stock and custom sizes are available, cut to length.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Stock sizes from one piece; mill lengths or heavy plate are priced per project. Tell us the grade, size and quantity for a quote.

Do you provide MTC / EN 10204 3.1?

Yes - every lot ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection can be arranged.

What is the typical lead time?

Stock items ship within days; made-to-order material is typically a few weeks depending on size, condition and certification.

Can you supply non-standard sizes or conditions?

Yes - custom sizes, non-standard walls or special tempers are available on request; we also offer cutting and surface preparation.

How do Alloy 20 and Alloy 59 compare?

Alloy 20 resists sulphuric acid and chloride pitting with niobium stabilisation; Alloy 59 is a higher-chromium, molybdenum-rich grade with broader tolerance to oxidising acids and crevice corrosion. Choose 59 for the most aggressive mixed-acid duty.
