Nickel Pipe and Tubing
Nickel pipe & tube - mill-direct, ASTM B161, cut-to-length, global export.
Our Nickel pipe and tubing are produced mill-direct - Nickel 200 and 201 - as seamless and welded pipe and tubing for corrosive, high-temperature and strength-critical service.
Nickel 200 and 201 are commercially pure nickel with high thermal and electrical conductivity, excellent resistance to caustic alkalis and many neutral or reducing salts, and good ductility for forming. 201 is the low-carbon version for service above 315 C to avoid graphitisation.
We produce Nickel pipe and tubing from about 6 mm up to 610 mm outside diameter, wall thickness 0.5-40 mm, in the annealed, with plain or bevelled ends; seamless and welded both supplied, with plain or bevelled ends and tolerances to specification. Seamless and welded both available from mill stock or made to order, each lot with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and inspection on request.

Specifications & Standards
| Grade | UNS | Primary ASTM | Typical condition / size |
|---|---|---|---|
| Nickel 200 | N02200 | B161 / B725 | Seamless/welded, 6-610 mm OD |
| Nickel 201 | N02201 | B161 / B725 | Seamless/welded, 6-610 mm OD |
Standards above are the most common procurement specifications; equivalents such as AMS, EN or GB may be supplied on request. Confirm the exact standard and condition for your grade before ordering.
Applications
Nickel pipe and tubing move fluids and gases where corrosion, pressure or temperature defeat ordinary alloys:
Caustic soda (chlor-alkali)
anode brackets, cell covers and caustic handling (200, 201).
Food & chemical processing
pure-nickel equipment for alkaline and food contact (200).
Electronics & plating
cathode and anode components, plating rolls (200, 201).
Thermal & electrical
conductors and heat-exchanger parts needing high conductivity (200).
Aerospace & instrumentation
corrosion-resistant, formable parts (201).
Frequently Asked Questions
What outside diameter range can you supply for Nickel pipe and tubing?
Pipe and tubing from from about 6 mm up to 610 mm outside diameter, wall thickness 0.5-40 mm; both stock and custom sizes are available, cut to length.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Stock sizes from one piece; mill lengths or heavy plate are priced per project. Tell us the grade, size and quantity for a quote.
Do you provide MTC / EN 10204 3.1?
Yes - every lot ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection can be arranged.
What is the typical lead time?
Stock items ship within days; made-to-order material is typically a few weeks depending on size, condition and certification.
Can you supply non-standard sizes or conditions?
Yes - custom sizes, non-standard walls or special tempers are available on request; we also offer cutting and surface preparation.
What is the difference between 200 and 201?
200 is commercially pure nickel for most caustic and forming service; 201 is the low-carbon version for continuous service above 315 C, where 200 could graphitise. Use 201 for high-temperature pure-nickel duty.
