Inconel Bar and Rod

Inconel bar supplied to ASTM B446 - stock, custom sizes, global export.

Our Inconel bar and rod collection brings together Inconel 600, 601, 625, 718 and X-750 - supplied as round, square and forged bar and rod for corrosive, high-temperature and strength-critical service across chemical, energy, marine and process industries.

Inconel keeps useful strength from cryogenic temperatures up to around 700 C, resists oxidation and scaling in air, and stands up to a wide range of acids, salts and combustion gases. 625 and X-750 add precipitation-hardening for higher strength; 600 and 601 lead on thermal stability and oxidation resistance.

We supply Inconel bar and rod from about 6 mm up to 300 mm diameter, with square, hex and forged shapes available, in the hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged, in the solution-annealed or age-hardened condition, with ends, surface and tolerances prepared to order. Stock items, cut-to-length and made-to-order dimensions are available, every lot shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and third-party inspection on request.

Applications

Inconel bar and rod are machined and forged into components that must hold strength and resist attack in aggressive service:

Aerospace & gas turbines

combustor liners, ducting and heat shields (625, 718, X-750).

Heat treatment & furnaces

muffles, trays and radiant tubes (600, 601).

Chemical & petrochemical

reactor walls, scrubbers and acid-handling liners (625, 600).

Nuclear & thermal processing

baffles and support plates needing long-term thermal stability (600, 718).

Pulp & paper / pollution control

flue-gas and waste-incineration components (601, 625).

FAQ

Frequently Asked Questions

What diameter range can you supply for Inconel bar and rod?

Bar and rod from from about 6 mm up to 300 mm diameter, with square, hex and forged shapes available; both stock and custom sizes are available, cut to length.

What is the minimum order quantity?

Stock sizes from one piece; mill lengths or heavy plate are priced per project. Tell us the grade, size and quantity for a quote.

Do you provide MTC / EN 10204 3.1?

Yes - every lot ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection can be arranged.

What is the typical lead time?

Stock items ship within days; made-to-order material is typically a few weeks depending on size, condition and certification.

Can you supply non-standard sizes or conditions?

Yes - custom sizes, non-standard walls or special tempers are available on request; we also offer cutting and surface preparation.

How does 625 differ from 718 for this form?

625 is solid-solution strengthened and favoured for corrosion resistance; 718 is precipitation-hardened for higher strength at moderate temperature. Choose by whether corrosion or strength dominates your service.
