Incoloy Bar and Rod
Incoloy bar supplied to ASTM B425 - stock, custom sizes, global export.
Our Incoloy bar and rod collection brings together Incoloy 800, 800H, 800HT and 825 - supplied as round, square and forged bar and rod for corrosive, high-temperature and strength-critical service across chemical, energy, marine and process industries.
Incoloy offers high-temperature strength and oxidation resistance with good creep behaviour - the H and HT versions are stabilised for long service above 600 C - plus resistance to carburisation, sulphidation and many aqueous corrodents. 825 adds molybdenum and copper for strong resistance to sulphuric and phosphoric acids and seawater.
We supply Incoloy bar and rod from about 6 mm up to 300 mm diameter, with square, hex and forged shapes available, in the hot-rolled, cold-drawn or forged, in the solution-annealed or age-hardened condition, with ends, surface and tolerances prepared to order. Stock items, cut-to-length and made-to-order dimensions are available, every lot shipped with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate and third-party inspection on request.
Below is the grade-by-grade specification overview, the industries we typically serve, and answers to common supply questions before you request a quote.

Applications
Incoloy bar and rod are machined and forged into components that must hold strength and resist attack in aggressive service:
Heat exchangers & furnaces
heater tubes, pigtails and radiant tubing (800H/HT).
Chemical & petrochemical
reactor internals, transfer lines and acid plant (825).
Power & thermal processing
superheater and recuperator tubing (800H/HT).
Marine & offshore
seawater-cooled systems and scrubber liners (825).
Industrial heating
retorts, baskets and conveyor components (800).
Frequently Asked Questions
What diameter range can you supply for Incoloy bar and rod?
Bar and rod from from about 6 mm up to 300 mm diameter, with square, hex and forged shapes available; both stock and custom sizes are available, cut to length.
What is the minimum order quantity?
Stock sizes from one piece; mill lengths or heavy plate are priced per project. Tell us the grade, size and quantity for a quote.
Do you provide MTC / EN 10204 3.1?
Yes - every lot ships with EN 10204 3.1 mill test certificate, and third-party inspection can be arranged.
What is the typical lead time?
Stock items ship within days; made-to-order material is typically a few weeks depending on size, condition and certification.
Can you supply non-standard sizes or conditions?
Yes - custom sizes, non-standard walls or special tempers are available on request; we also offer cutting and surface preparation.
When should I choose 825 over 800H/HT?
800H/HT are stabilised for high-temperature strength and oxidation; 825 adds molybdenum and copper for resistance to sulphuric acid, phosphoric acid and seawater. Pick 825 when aqueous corrosion leads, 800H/HT when heat leads.
