Incoloy 800 (Alloy 800, UNS08800) high-temperature alloy is a Ni Fe Cr series of iron nickel based corrosion-resistant alloys mainly composed of Ni and Cr. The alloy has been in a single austenite zone since high temperature and rapid cooling, therefore, the service state is a single austenite structure.
This alloy has high high-temperature corrosion resistance, excellent stress corrosion resistance, and oxidation resistance. It is commonly used in nuclear power evaporation heat transfer tubes and ultra supercritical power generation units at temperatures above 700 ℃, as well as high-temperature equipment in petrochemical industry (such as catalytic tubes, convection tubes, cracking tubes, reformers, and pigtail tubes).
It has excellent stress corrosion cracking resistance in chloride, low concentration NaOH aqueous solutions, and high-temperature and high-pressure water, So it is used for manufacturing equipment that is resistant to stress corrosion cracking. Incoloy800 can be applied in chemical industry nuclear generator nitric acid coolers, acetic anhydride cracking tube heat exchange equipment, and heat exchange tubes under softening and annealing conditions up to 600 ° C.
