Introduction of Nickel 201

Nickel 201 (UNS N02201) is a low-carbon version of commercially pure nickel (Nickel 200). It contains a maximum carbon content of 0.02%, which significantly improves resistance to graphitization and embrittlement at elevated temperatures above 315°C.

It offers excellent resistance to caustic alkalis, neutral and reducing environments, and is widely used in chemical processing, food handling, synthetic fiber production, and electrical industries where high purity nickel and thermal stability are required.
