Introduction

Hastelloy C-22 (UNS N06022), also known as Alloy C22, is a nickel chromium molybdenum tungsten alloy designed for strong resistance in highly corrosive environments.

It provides reliable protection against pitting, crevice corrosion, and stress corrosion cracking, especially in chloride and acid media.

Compared with many stainless steels and nickel alloys, Alloy C22 delivers more stable performance in severe chemical service conditions.

The alloy performs well in both oxidizing and reducing environments, making it suitable for chemical processing equipment, pharmaceutical systems, semiconductor manufacturing, and pollution control applications.

Because of its versatility and corrosion resistance, Hastelloy C-22 is widely selected for critical industrial process systems.
